What happens when two iconic Italian performance and design powerhouses combine forces on a project? You get a gorgeous instantly collectible speedy product that is hard not to drool on. In this case, the designers at Lamborghini have styled a Ducati Diavel 1260 S, with inspiration from the Lamborghini Siàn FKP 37. What we get is the limited edition Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini naked sports motorcycle.
Limited Edition Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini
Only 630 Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini motorcycles will be built worldwide. They will be available at the end of December at Ducati dealerships worldwide, but we suspect they will sell out before that. This motorcycle is an instant collectible and a gorgeous work of art. That exclusivity and beauty don’t come cheap though, as the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini has a sticker price of $31,995. That’s $8,600 more than the Duicati Diavel 1260 S from which it’s based.
It’s A Looker!
This limited-edition motorcycle is really about the complete styling package. The bike is draped in carbon fiber parts, like the mudguards, tank covers, air intakes, radiator surround, and exhaust silencers. You’d also think that the truly beautiful lightweight forged wheels would help reduce weight. Overall these striking lightweight parts have somehow actually added 4-pounds to the Diavel 1260 S, however, which now weighs in at 485-pounds.
Just like the Lamborghini Siàn FKP 37 the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini gets Gea Green bodywork and Electrum Gold accents. In this case, the frame, underside of the rear fender, and wheels are all gold. A nice touch is the classic Ducati red on the brake calipers.
More Lamborghini style is applied in the form of “Y” details on the motorcycle’s seat and the hexagon exhaust outlets. The big “63” on the side of the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini motorcycle not only denotes the 630 bikes that will be made, but also to celebrate the year Lamborghini was founded, 1963.
Super Car Performance
The Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini offers up 162 hp, three more than the standard Diavel 1260 S on which it’s based. Needless to say, the power to weight ratio of this bike is impressive!
It also has 95 lb.-ft. of torque on tap, a massive 240 mm wide rear tire to put that power to the pavement, and a sexy single-sided swingarm with fully adjustable Öhlins suspensions to create a sporty ride.
