Used 2009 Hyundai Genesis
With its rear-wheel drive the Genesis makes for a smooth ride that accelerates rather quickly. The option for a V8 makes it have more than enough power to haul your family and cargo around. Being built by Hyundai also means it has top of its class reliability and safety ratings. The interior is spacious, comfortable and fairly posh for its category. The cabin stays quiet even with the powerful V8 and even while cruising down the highway. It comes with some nice standard features such as leather seats, power front seats, Bluetooth and satellite radio with USB port. The only real knock on this vehicle is that it does not come with an all-wheel drive option like many of its competitors do. Standard is a 3.8 liter V6 with 290hp and 18/27mpg.
Used 2009 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
As far as used cars go it is hard to go wrong with a Mercedes-Benz, especially if you go through their certified pre-owned process. The E-class boasts impressive reliability scores and solid safety scores. While there are many different level of E-Class they all tend to be solid buys. The E350 offers a good mix or power and handling while the E63 AMG is optimized for high performance driving. The interior is both luxurious and comfortable with plenty of space for passengers. Over all it is a very well-rounded car for its class. Standard features include sunroof, power front seats and dual-zone climate control. Upgrades include heated front seats, satellite radio, navigation and Ipod interface. The standard engine is a 3.5 liter V6 with 268hp and 17/24mpg but options for a V8 and diesel are available as well.
Used 2009 Cadillac DTS
These used cars bring all the luxury and quality you would expect from a Cadillac. This highly ranked car has exceptional reliability ratings albeit with a low safety score. It interior is roomy and luxurious while providing comfortable, plush seats. While larger than most cars its class some felt it made for awkward, wide turning. It also has relatively poor fuel economy and the biggest complaint is it has an old, outdated four speed-transmission for such an advanced car. The transmission really doesn’t take full advantage of the V8 engine. Standard options include leather upholstery, power front seats, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth and OnStar. The engine is a 4.6 liter V8 with 275hp and 15/23mpg.
