The Rhino XT is a new creation from the California-based aftermarket builder US Specialty Vehicles (USSV) known for militarizing all-terrain vehicles. Underneath there somewhere is a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited as the platform for this build. The power plant and drive train components have remained stock incorporating a 3.6-liter V-6 that generates 285 horsepower. The transmission is also the basic 5-speed used in the Wrangler limited.
The exterior has received a huge body makeover almost resembling the discontinued Toyota FJ cruiser more than a Jeep Wrangler. Massive riveted fender flares have been added to enclose the 35-inch all-terrain tires that are fitted to 20X10-inch custom aluminum wheels. The Rhino XT is equipped with reinforced body panels, heavy-duty bumpers, and custom tow hooks.
The interior has also been enhanced with USSV-badged custom leather seats, a European style dashboard, and leather-trimmed door panels. Other features include an Alpine navigation system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and chrome accent trim. Safety features include a complete roll-cage and a rear backup camera system.
This unique SUV has been making it rounds to several auto shows starting with the 2015 SEMA show. USSV began then, and continues now, to take orders for this beast of a SUV with a starting price of 75,445. US dollars.
