Ford Super Duty Warn Winch

The 12,000-pound Warn winch that debuted on the Termor off-road-oriented pickup is now available on most Ford Super Duty pickups. This Ford Performance Parts winch is fully crash tested and can be purchased on a new truck at the factory or purchased at the dealer for new and 2020+ Super Duty.

You can order this winch on a new truck from the factory now, and around April 8th from your local dealership for your current truck, or a new one off the lot.

This winch is made by Warn Industries, with final assembly in Clackamas, Oregon. It offers a synthetic cable, wireless and wired controllers, and comes with a hawse fairlead and mount to integrate it into the Super Duty bumper.

There are two big reasons why you might go with this $3,000 upgrade over a similar aftermarket option. The first is that you can finance it with your new truck purchase and have it backed by the same warranty. The second is that it has been fully fit and crash tested, so you know it will work perfectly with the vehicle cooling and safety systems.

Would buying a Warn M12-S, Warn Zeon 12-S, or similar capacity winch for less money work? Probably. Would it be as good or even better? Maybe. The key to the Ford Performance Parts Warn Winch is that it is built and tested specifically for this application.

This Ford Performance Parts winch will fit 2020 or newer Ford Super Duty (excluding the F450) 4×4 trucks with the 7.4L gas V8 and the 6.7L diesel V8, when those trucks are optioned with dual batteries and dual 397-amp alternators.

The only other similar program out there is the Mopar Rubicon Warn Winch, which is similar to the Warn Zeon 8-S, and will set you back $2,090 ($1,595 for the winch, $450 for the mount, and $45 for the fairlead kit).

Ram offers a unique Warn winch from the factory on its Power Wagon, but that winch is not available for purchase to install on other Ram trucks.
