Volvo XC60 is easily one of the most popular SUVs in the world. It has been the best-selling Volvo for years now. Thus, having some of them modded to the extremes is not exactly a surprise. These are the Volvo XC60 and the XC70 transformed into 6×6 pickup machines. While you may think that these are just copycats of the Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6, think again. German company Dalbo Fordonsteknik transformed the SUVs into 6×6 machines back in 2012. At that time, the G63 6×6 did not exist at all.
Not only did they make a radical transformation, but the car received an R-Design body kit. Also, enjoy oversized chromed wheels and a neat rear end with a fine bed. Now, the car seems a bit off, that is for sure, but considering how much work went into making it, we have to let the oddness of it slide. Apart from the XC60, Dalbo Fordonsteknik made a great job with the XC90 and the XC70. Seeing the XC60 6×6 towing the XC70 pickup is quite a sight for sure. They were showcased in the Volvo Museum in Gothenburg, Sweden, but it would be cool seeing something like this on our soil as well.
A massive LED light bar on the roof and a bull bar for the front bumper made the Volvo pickup truck a bit more robust if not damn crazy. Sure, transformations like this aren’t unheard of even for some other cars. However, seeing a quite fashionable XC60 getting the 6×6 makeover has a somewhat cool appeal.
