Husqvarna Motorcycles North America just confirmed that the trail-focused 701 Enduro will now be available for serious long-range dual sport riders. And, for a price tag that seems fair. Headlight, mirrors, turn signals, license plate holder, impressive range, and serious off-road chops combine to create this latest generation Husky dual sport moto.
Husky Engine
Like the 701 Enduro model, the 701 Enduro LR features a punchy 692.7cc single-cylinder engine, with fast and responsive power delivery. It delivers the grunt exactly when and where you need it! In terms of actual power, this moto puts out 74 hp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque figure of 54 lb.-ft. at 6,500. It’s more than enough for nervous off-roaders and seasoned professionals alike.
The 701 Enduro LR Rolling Chassis
It’s made better by the bike’s agile nature. Thanks to the lightweight Chromium-molybdenum steel trellis frame and practical hardware, the 701 Enduro LR can navigate tough terrain. The LR features fully-adjustable 48 mm WP XPLOR USD forks up front, twinned with a sophisticated WP XPLOR shock at the rear. The combination of the smooth and powerful engine with nimble handling makes for an exciting off-road package.

But, what sets the LR-designated models apart from the crowd is the addition of a tour-extending 6.6-gallon fuel capacity.
