The Ford Explorer has been a very popular SUV option for over two decades and the Ford Motor Company is introducing a new XLT Sport Appearance package. The focus of this new package is to incorporate sportier features to expand the brand to appeal to more consumers. Currently; the best selling Explorer models are the Sport and the Platinum. The new package expands the concept of those models offering a unique sportier trim level.
The XLT Sport Appearance Package is an extension of the Ford Explorer XLT lineup with a sportier trim package. The standard features exclusive to to XLT trim level are carried-over to the new Sport Appearance Package. The power plant is a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that is standard equipment for the XLT model. The SUV is also equipped with Intelligent Access that showcases the push-button start feature and a 10-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support. SYNC 3 that is a new addition for 2017 and LED fog/driving lights are also standard features.
